The Cape May County Library invites the public to attend “What’s Swimming in My Bathing Suit?” presented by Sue Ann Slotterback at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16th. The program will take place at the Main Branch of the Cape May County Library located at 30 E. Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House.
Ever swallow a mouthful of water when you realize something is tickling your innards or inside your suit? You could have sworn something just brushed by your leg and nipped your toe? You don’t have to worry, Sue Slotterback will show you an up-close look at those plankton and other critters treading water with us.
Sue Ann Slotterback grew up combing Cape May County beaches. For over thirty years, Slotterback has been a professional naturalist and outdoor education specialist for Girl Scouts, the Ocean Discovery Aquarium, the Philadelphia Zoo, the National Aquarium in Baltimore, the NJ Marine Sciences Consortium and NJ Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May.
