Cape May Court House – The Cape May County Library invites the public to attend “Shorebirds” presented by Don Freiday at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17th. The program will take place at the Main Library located at 30 Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House.
Shorebirds, the sandpipers and plovers, entrance us with their beauty and amaze us with their migrations, but challenge us when it comes to identification. Don Freiday provides some helpful tips and clues to advance our knowledge of these birds.
Freiday is a graduate of Rutgers University and is currently the regional coordinator for the New Jersey Breeding Bird Atlas and the co-author of two books: “A Precious Place, a Naturalist Explores New Jersey” and “Wild Journeys: Migration in New Jersey.
