Cape May Court House, New Jersey - The Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders will host their annual Beach Conference on Monday, June 18, 2007. This free conference that is open to the public will be held at the County Administration Building located at 4 Moore Road in Cape May Court House from 10 a.m. until Noon.
Beach Conference 2007 will focus on issues surrounding the protection of our beaches as well as commercial and recreational fishing in Cape May County. "Protecting our beaches and keeping our waterways clean and passable are important issues to all of us and exceedingly important for the fishing industry - Cape May County's second most important industry," said Freeholder Director Daniel Beyel.
Speakers will include Congressman Frank LoBiondo, State Senator Nicholas Asselta, Assemblyman Jeff Van Drew, Jeff Gebert, Chief of Coastal Planning, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, James A. Ferretti, US EPA Region II team leader, Dan Glaze, CMC Party & Charter Boat Association, and Daniel Cohen, Atlantic Cape Fisheries.
The annual beach conference is one of many conferences sponsored by the county throughout the year that bring experts to the County Administration Building to discuss important issues for the residents of Cape May County.
