With the population aging as a whole, it is important for caregivers in all specialties to become knowledgeable about this complex phenomenon. An RN wellness educator is utilized to facilitate interventions in a positive manner. Crest Havens' staff learns to differentiate age related changes from disorders, medication uses and mismanagement, pain interventions, documentation and directive guidelines, and care for the population of our facility. Disorders and symptoms, assessment tools and guidelines, treatment regimens, interventions, prevention suggestions and evaluative criteria are included in Crest Haven's on-going education programs.
