The Intensive Supervision Program (ISP) closely monitors juveniles charged or adjudicated delinquent by the Family Court. They are assigned one of three levels of supervision while school and needed social services are engaged. Juveniles can be placed on electronic monitors, in home detention or community supervision. They are monitored, either telephonically or in person, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The program holds the juvenile accountable for his or her actions and the juvenile’s progress is reported to the Family Court Judge. Juveniles are usually ordered into the program instead of or after an initial placement in a Juvenile Detention Center.
