Cape May County purchases detention bed space from Cumberland County Detention Center.  Through an annual contracted agreement Cape May County purchases beds daily from Cumberland County.  Youth Services provides a small transportation team which assists the Cape May County Sheriff’s Department in transporting juveniles to and from court and the detention facility on juvenile court days.

• Take Court House/South Dennis Road (657) North
• Make Right on Route 47 North. 
• 47 Splits into 47/347 in Eldora. Make left turn at light to stay on 47.  It is much more scenic than 347. (And Safer!)
• At WAWA/Campbells intersection, Turn left. Go over Maurice River Bridge
• At First Yellow Blinker light, Turn right on to Buckshutem Road RT 670
• Follow Buckshutem all the way to Bridgeton – about 15 miles
• Turn Right onto Rt 638- Burlington Road –School will be in distance to the left.
• At the first red light, turn left onto Route 49
• Travel Through Bridgeton on Route 49 (Broad Street)
• Turn left on to Route 607 at Traffic Light (West Avenue). Bridgeton Middle School will be on your right. (Just past the 7-11)
• Make second right on to Route 607 at Blue “Cumberland Detention” sign. Go about ½ mile
• Turn left on to Sunny Slope Road (RT 613)
• About a half mile down the road on the left look for three large buildings. Pull in driveway and continue down to last building (Oldest one). Do not park in front of the building.
• Go up steps. Ring Doorbell.
